The LCN 4040XP door closer is a new addition to the LCN 4000 series line that replaces the 4041. It is the most durable heavy duty closer designed for applications that are very high use areas. Features:

Specifications:
  • Standard 4040 series closer shipped with regular arm, standard plastic cover, and self reaming and tapping screws.
  • Non-sized cylinder is adjustable for interior doors to 5 feet and exterior doors to 4 feet
  • Closer mounts hinge side, top jamb, and parallel arm w/PA shoe on either right or left swinging doors.
  • Closers to meet ADA requirments.
  • Tested and certified under ANSI Standard A156.4, grade one.
This closer mounts parallel arm, regular arm, or top jamb mount on either a right or left swinging doors. EDA arm available at additional cost. It is UL and cUL listed for self-closing doors without hold-open and can be used with all the accessories that are used by the LCN 4041 door closer. The LCN 4040XP door closer is cast iron with a forged steel arm and double heat treated steel pinion. It has also been tested and certified under the ANSI Standard A156.4 to be rated Grade One. Comes in an aluminum color.
