The Von Duprin WR 252L-06 Pool Gate Lever Trim is now available.
This is the outer trim hardware that is designed to work with the Von Duprin 9852 Pool Gate Panic Bar and the 9952 Pool Gate Panic Bar.
Some areas including pools have different safety and operation requirements for the hardware that is used on gates and other access points than regular doors for buildings. For the safety of children, the handle trim is not at the same height as the panic bar, but above it. This keeps kids from entering an area unsupervised. Regulations require the handle to be at least 54 inches above the ground or floor. The panic bar itself needs to be mounted 36-48 inches from the ground. The Von Duprin 252L lever trim and the 9852 and 9952 series panic bars are designed for this purpose.
The 252L lever can come either left or right hand reverse, but the product is also field reversible. The lever trim is UL listed for panic exit hardware, certified to ANSI/BHMA 156.3 2014, Grade 1, and is compliant to ADA 1010.1.9 door operations.
The Von Duprin WR 252L-06 Pool Gate Lever Trim comes in an aluminum finish.
